Shanti mantras, or peace invocations, are integral components of the Vedas, the oldest sacred scriptures of Hinduism. These mantras are recited to invoke peace and harmony within the individual, society, and the universe. The term "Shanti" translates to "peace," and these mantras are chanted at the beginning and end of rituals, ceremonies, and spiritual practices.
